Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI) has appointed Wilson Parking Australia to oversee car park management at Sydney’s new 24-hour global gateway.
Wilson Parking will manage all four of WSI’s car parks and associated holding areas, helping deliver a smooth, integrated parking experience for passengers, visitors and airport staff from day one of operations later this year.
Established in Perth in 1962, Wilson Parking has grown to become one of the largest parking management providers in the Asia Pacific and brings extensive aviation sector expertise to WSI, with established operations at major gateways in Australia and New Zealand.
WSI CEO Simon Hickey said the appointment reflects the airport’s commitment to delivering a customer-focused experience across every stage of the passenger journey.
“From the moment passengers arrive at Western Sydney International, we want their experience to be simple, stress-free and efficient,” he said.
“Wilson Parking’s long track record of managing airport parking across Australia and New Zealand makes them a strong and experienced partner that we’re pleased to welcome to WSI as we prepare to launch our inaugural passenger services, later this year.”
Stephan Wuffli, CEO Wilson Parking Australia said the business was delighted to join Western Sydney International, Australia’s newest airport in one of the nation’s fastest growing regions.
“We’re proud to partner with Western Sydney International. Leveraging our market-leading operational and management capabilities, we look forward to delivering a seamless parking and ground transport experience that supports the airport’s long-term growth and creates a world-class passenger journey,” he said.
“This appointment is a significant milestone for Wilson Parking and reflects our deep airport experience and operational capability. We’re excited to help passengers start and end their travel journey with a smooth parking experience from day one.”
WSI has more than 6,000 car spaces encompassing long and short-term parking. Dozens of Electric Vehicle charging bays will also be available, alongside secure covered parking and accessible parking options, while long stay parking is within a five-minute shuttle to the terminal.
WSI’s car park pricing schedule is currently being finalised and will be released in the coming months, which will enable passengers to book online well ahead of initial passenger services that will commence in October 2026.
As Sydney’s new 24-hour international airport, WSI will boost Sydney’s aviation capacity, drive jobs growth, and continue to attract global investment and boost economic activity in the nation’s third largest economy and one of its most diverse and vibrant regions.
