Halloween is just around the corner, and Fairfield City is preparing for a frighteningly fun celebration, with a series of events planned for families across the region.
From spooky storytelling and trick-or-treating to live entertainment and costume competitions, there will be plenty of opportunities to get into the Halloween spirit.
The celebrations will kick off on Thursday, October 29, with a special Halloween Evening Storytime at Bonnyrigg Library located at Bonnyrigg Plaza.
Children and families are encouraged to dress in their favourite costumes and enjoy spooky stories, craft and activities.
The event is open to all ages, with bookings required.
The following day, Friday, October 30, Halloween in Canley Heights will return for another year.
Running from 4pm to 8pm, the free celebration will transform Canley Heights Town Centre into a Halloween destination, with activities planned for the whole family.
The event will be held around the Torrens Street car park at 222 Canley Vale Road, and promises a night full of frights and delights.
Hundreds of people are expected to attend, with the popular event providing an opportunity for families to celebrate Halloween together.
Motorists should note that the Torrens Street car park will be closed from 4am on the day, along with the Ascot Street car park entry via Kiora Street.
The celebrations will continue on Halloween itself, Saturday, October 31, with A Spooky Celebration at Little Asia in Canley Vale.
The festival, held at Làng Ăn at 43 Canley Vale Road, will feature trick-or-treating, magic, costume prizes and live DJ entertainment for adults into the night.
It’s another opportunity for families to embrace the occasion, with plenty of reasons to dress up and join the fun.
With celebrations spread across several suburbs, there’s something for everyone, whether it’s a family outing, an opportunity to show off a creative costume or simply a chance to enjoy the atmosphere.
