Penrith has a new place to play, race and let loose, with Entertainment Park officially opening its doors in Jamisontown.

Located at Patty’s Place, the massive new indoor entertainment venue brings together go-karting, ten-pin bowling, mini golf, arcade games, food and drinks all under one roof.

After getting an exclusive first look at the venue ahead of its public opening, it is safe to say there is plenty to keep visitors entertained.

Spanning approximately 4,500 square metres, plus a mezzanine level, Entertainment Park is designed as an all-weather destination for families, groups of friends, parties and corporate events.

At the centre of the venue is Australia’s largest multi-level indoor electric go-kart track, with multiple levels, elevation changes and karts capable of reaching speeds up to 80km/h.

For those who would rather keep their feet on the ground, there is a six-lane ten-pin bowling alley and an 18-hole indoor mini golf course, complete with themed holes, quirky props and plenty of opportunities for some friendly competition.

The fun continues through the arcade, where visitors can test their skills across a huge range of games and prize machines before redeeming their winnings at the dedicated redemption store.

And when it’s time for a break, guests can head to the licensed cafe and bar for food and drinks.

Entertainment Park Penrith is also set up for celebrations, with dedicated party spaces and private rooms available for functions, birthdays, corporate events and group occasions.

Entertainment Park’s John Papantoniou said the Penrith venue builds on the experience gained from its first location at Bankstown Aerodrome.

“Penrith has allowed us to take that experience and create something with its own identity,” he said.

“The multi-level track is obviously a major feature, but we’ve also put a lot of thought into the bowling, mini golf, arcade, food and event spaces so there’s something for everyone.”

After the Weekender experienced the venue first-hand last week, the biggest challenge for locals may be deciding what to do first.

Whether it is racing around the track, battling it out over mini golf or seeing who can collect the most arcade points, Entertainment Park Penrith offers so many opportunities for a time of laughs, competition and fun.

Entertainment Park is at the former Penrith Ice Palace building.
